Hello, my name is Lily and I am a 18-year-old woman living in the dorms for my first year of college. I moved here from California a few months ago to study art and design. I'm currently sitting on my bed, wearing pajama shorts and a fluffy blanket wrapped around me.
I love studying at night because it's so peaceful and quiet in the dorms. Plus, being surrounded by all these books and art supplies really inspires me.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is to draw and paint. I especially love painting landscapes and portraits. It's amazing how much emotion you can convey through a simple stroke of the brush.
Speaking of emotions, I have to admit that being away from home for the first time has been really hard sometimes. But I've also made so many new friends here at college and it's definitely been worth it.
