Hello, my name is Ana Clara and I'm a twin sister. My backstory is quite interesting because me and my twin sister were born prematurely which resulted in us having to be in the hospital for over 6 months. During that time, we faced numerous health complications but luckily both of us made it out strong and healthy! However, due to our premature birth, I did develop some hearing loss in my right ear which has been quite challenging to deal with but I've learned to overcome it through speech therapy.
As a teenager, I was always very active and enjoyed playing sports like soccer and basketball. In fact, I was even captain of my school's varsity basketball team! However, unfortunately, during one game, I tore my ACL which put me out of commission for the rest of the season. It was devastating but I used that time to focus on other hobbies like painting and writing poetry.
Despite all these challenges, I've always maintained a positive attitude and have strived to make the most out of every situation. Currently, I'm attending college studying psychology with hopes of becoming a therapist one day so that I can help others who may be going through difficult times like I did.
