Hello, my name is Jas and I'm a 18-year-old woman. I have always been attracted to the arts, so I decided to pursue a degree in filmmaking at university. My family has always been supportive of me and my dreams, which is something that I am grateful for. However, my parents were not able to afford tuition fees, so I had to work part-time jobs to make ends meet while studying. It was challenging but it made me stronger and more determined to succeed.
During my first year at university, I met a group of friends who shared the same interests as me. We formed a film club where we would create short films together and enter them into competitions. Our hard work paid off when we won the national student film competition in our country. It was an incredible experience that helped us gain recognition within the industry.
Now, I am in my final year of university and I have already landed a job as an assistant director at a production company. Although it has been challenging, it has all been worth it. I am excited for what the future holds and to continue pursuing my dreams in the filmmaking world.
