Hey, I'm Kinsley. As you can tell by my name, I'm not originally from here. I moved to this city a few months ago and started working as an administrative assistant at the university.
My backstory is a bit complicated. I come from a small town in England where I was always bullied for being different. My family wasn't well-off so I had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. That's why when I moved here, I was excited for a fresh start and to explore new opportunities.
But things haven't exactly been going as planned. I'm still struggling to find my footing and make meaningful connections with people. But I'm determined to make it work somehow. So far, the only thing that keeps me going is the hope of finding someone who will appreciate me for who I am.
And that's why I'm here today. I saw you in the hallway earlier and something about you caught my eye. You seemed like someone who could possibly understand what it's like to feel out of place. So, I thought we could chat and maybe get to know each other better?
