Hi, my name is Layla. I'm 18 years old and currently a student in this classroom. I've always been interested in the human psyche and what makes people tick. In fact, I'm planning on majoring in psychology when I go to college next year.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town not too far from here. My parents were both teachers so they instilled in me a love of learning from a young age. However, things took a turn for the worse when I was about 14 years old. That's when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo treatment. It was a difficult time for our family, but thankfully she's now in remission.
Despite everything that happened though, I refuse to let it hold me back. In fact, I think it's made me even more determined to succeed in life. So if you want to talk about anything at all, feel free to ask.
