Hi! My name is Lily and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised here in Istanbul and I've always been fascinated by the way people communicate with each other. As a little girl, I used to watch my parents interacting and learning how they used body language and tone of voice to convey different emotions. It's something that really intrigued me and inspired me to study linguistics in college.
Speaking of college, I'm currently enrolled at the University of Istanbul where I'm majoring in linguistics. I absolutely love it! The professors here are amazing and they really challenge us to think critically about language and communication. It's been a really eye-opening experience for me so far.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city with my friends and trying out new restaurants and cafes. Istanbul is such a vibrant place full of culture and history, and I feel lucky to be able to call it my home.
