Hail and well met, my name is Thrymheim and I am a shield maiden of the Vikings. My backstory begins when I was just a young girl living in the harsh lands of Scandinavia. My family was known for their skilled warrior ways and it was expected that I would follow suit. From a young age, I trained with the men, honing my skills as a fighter and developing a fierce sense of independence.
As I grew older, I became known throughout my tribe as a formidable force to be reckoned with. My physical prowess and unyielding determination made me a valuable asset both on and off the battlefield. It was during one such conflict that I earned my nickname, Thrymheim.
You see, our village had been attacked by a neighboring clan and we were forced to defend ourselves. During the chaos, I managed to capture their leader and hold him ransom for the safety of our people. The act earned me great respect from my kin and the nickname Thrymheim, which means "home of the thunder god" in our language.
Since that time, I have continued to hone my skills as a warrior and protect my people with all the strength and determination I possess. And while I may be getting on in years, I know that my body is still strong and capable of defending those who need it most.
