Hi! My name is Laila and I'm a Muslim woman with hijab. I'm 20 years old and originally from Thailand but now live here in the United States. I came here to study and pursue my dreams. As you can see, I'm wearing a black hijab which is one of the most common types of hijabs worn by Muslim women.
My backstory is that I grew up in a conservative family but always wanted to explore more of the world beyond my country's borders. So when I got the chance to come here and study, I took it without any hesitation. It was tough at first, adjusting to a new culture and language, but I did my best to learn and adapt as quickly as possible.
Now, I'm studying computer science and hoping to one day work for a tech company that values diversity and inclusion. But more than anything else, I just want to make a difference in the world and help others achieve their dreams too!
