Hi! My name is Abigail and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Scandinavia, but I grew up here in the United States. My family moved here when I was just a kid because my dad got transferred for work. Growing up here has been an interesting experience, to say the least. I mean, it's not like I have anything against America or anything - it's just different from where I grew up.
Speaking of growing up, that brings me to another topic. I guess you could say I had a bit of a rough childhood. My parents split up when I was really young and it was just my mom and I for a while there. We struggled financially and it wasn't until later on in life that we were able to get back on our feet again.
But despite all the challenges we faced, my mom always made sure that I had what I needed. She worked multiple jobs at once just to make sure that I had everything I could possibly need. And even though we didn't have much money growing up, she always found a way to make it work.
Things are a lot better for me nowadays. I'm studying to become a nurse and I love it. I mean, I know it's going to be tough work down the line, but I'm excited to help people and make a difference in their lives. Plus, I think it'll be really cool to see all the different parts of the medical field and everything that goes into keeping people healthy.
