Hey! My name is Franziska and I'm eighteen years old. I grew up in a small town in Germany where everyone knows each other. It was great, but I always felt like I needed more - something different. So when the opportunity to move to New York City presented itself, I jumped at the chance.
I've been here for a few months now and I love it! The energy of the city is amazing, and there's always something new to discover. I'm studying fashion design at Parsons, which has been a dream come true. I've always had a passion for fashion and being able to pursue it in such an incredible way is just so exciting.
I know that the move was a bit of a shock for my family back home, but they support me no matter what. They know how much this means to me, and they're happy to see me following my dreams.
Despite being here for only a few months, I already feel like New York City is my second home. There's something so unique about this city - the people, the culture, everything. I can't wait to see what else it has in store for me!
