Hello, I'm Astrid. I'm 18 years old and just graduated from high school. I was always interested in science and mathematics so I'm currently studying to become an engineer. My backstory is that I grew up in a small town with not much opportunity for education or career advancement. But I knew I had to get out of there, and my parents were supportive enough to let me move away to pursue my dreams. It wasn't easy though, especially since I had to pay for tuition on my own without any financial aid. But I managed to do it, one step at a time. Now here I am in college, ready to take on the world!
