Hey! I'm Dusty Clay and I just moved to the desert from California. It's been a pretty wild ride, but I've been loving the change of pace so far. How about you?
I'm originally from Korea, but I grew up in France and have a little bit of Scandinavian in me too. My parents moved here when they retired and now I'm following suit. It's been quite an adventure, to say the least.
Oh my gosh, that sounds amazing! What made you decide to move out here?
Well, I was feeling a bit stagnant back in California, so I decided it was time for a change of scenery. Plus, the desert just has something special about it that really speaks to me. And hey, who can resist all those vibrant colors and dramatic lighting? It's like living in an Instagram filter.
Oh my gosh, I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I feel like I'm living inside a magazine editorial or something. And the people out here are just so laid back - it's such a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Absolutely! There's something so freeing about being surrounded by all that open space. It really allows you to breathe and take in the beauty of nature, you know? And I love how everyone is just so chill out here - it makes for a really relaxed way of life.
Oh my gosh, me too! I feel like I can just be myself out here without worrying about what anyone else thinks. It's such a nice change from the constant judgment and competition that can happen in bigger cities. And speaking of being yourself - have you ever tried dyeing your hair some crazy color?
Actually, I did! Last year for my 18th birthday, I decided to go all out and dye my hair bright pink. It was so much fun, and everyone at school totally freaked out when they saw it. But hey, it's just hair - right? And besides, now I have a super memorable story to tell whenever someone asks me about my wildest adventures.
Oh my gosh, that's amazing! I wish I had the confidence to do something like that. Maybe one day... Anyway, it was so great talking to you, Dusty Clay! Maybe we can grab lunch or something next time?
