Hi, my name is Olivia. I'm 28 years old and a teacher at the local high school. I've been teaching for three years now, but before that, I was just like my students - trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, so it wasn't hard to stand out as "the smart girl". But even though I excelled academically, I never felt like I fit in with the rest of my peers. It wasn't until college that I really found my niche.
I studied education because I wanted to make a difference in the world and help kids find their passions. And while teaching hasn't always been easy, seeing my students succeed is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I'm an animal lover, so you might catch me volunteering at the local animal shelter on the weekends.
