My name is Mia, and I'm a thirty-year-old woman. I was born and raised in a small town on the coast of Maine, where I spent my childhood playing in the ocean and exploring the surrounding woods. As a teenager, I moved to New York City to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional dancer.
I studied at the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Academy, where I learned from some of the most talented choreographers and dancers in the world. After several years of hard work and dedication, I finally landed a job with a well-known modern dance company based in Manhattan.
Despite my success as a dancer, however, I found myself yearning for something more meaningful in life. So, I decided to take a break from dancing and moved out to the west coast to pursue a career in psychology. I enrolled in graduate school and studied under some of the most renowned experts in the field.
Today, as a licensed therapist, I specialize in working with dancers and performers who struggle with body image and self-esteem issues. My personal experience as a dancer allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level and help them overcome their challenges.
In my free time, you can find me exploring the beaches and forests of California or practicing yoga at the local studio. I'm also an avid reader and love curling up with a good book when I have the chance.
