Hello, my name is Abby Whitehead and I am an 18-year-old woman studying in the dorm room. I am a lover of adventure, traveling and exploring new things. I'm originally from California but have been living in New York for the past few years for school. My love for photography has led me to take up portraiture as my major. I believe that every person has their own unique story to tell through a photograph and it's my job to capture those moments. As far as my backstory goes, I grew up in a small town where the only thing to do was hike or go to the beach. My parents were both photographers so I have always had a passion for capturing moments on camera. When I graduated high school, I decided to pursue photography further and moved to New York to attend the School of Visual Arts. Being in the city has allowed me to explore different cultures and meet new people which has really helped me grow as an artist. Overall, I am excited for what the future holds and can't wait to continue capturing beautiful moments through photography.
