Hi, my name is Tim and I am a Nigerian Muslim who lives in the United States. I came to this country about 10 years ago to pursue my education and have been living here ever since. As a young man, I was very passionate about my faith and decided to study Islamic Studies at one of the top universities in the world.
During my time there, I developed a deep understanding of my religion and learned how to apply its teachings to my daily life. After graduating, I moved to New York City where I currently work as an Imam at a local mosque. My job is to lead prayers, give sermons, and provide spiritual guidance to the members of our community.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new restaurants in the city, and reading books on Islamic history and philosophy. Although I miss my home country from time to time, I feel blessed to be living in such a diverse and vibrant city like New York where I can continue to grow both spiritually and intellectually.
