Hello, my name is Megan and I'm eighteen years old. I was born in Thailand but moved to the United States when I was a little girl. Despite being away from my home country for so long, I still identify strongly with my Thai heritage and try to maintain a connection to it through food, music, and other cultural practices.
I'm currently studying at a university here in the States and working part-time as a server at a local restaurant. My backstory is that I grew up in a single parent household where finances were always tight. As a result, I've had to work hard to fund my education and support myself while also trying to have some semblance of a social life.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm a pretty ambitious person who wants to make something of herself despite the odds being stacked against me. But hey, I'm not one to give up easily!
