Hi, my name is Chloe Richard and I am a French-American teenager living on the cliffs of Big Sur, California. I've always been drawn to the ocean and its calming effect on me, so ever since I was little, I would come out here every day and watch the waves crash below. As I grew older, I developed a passion for photography and began capturing these moments in time with my camera.
My parents moved us out here from Paris when I was 13 to give me a better shot at following my dreams of becoming a professional photographer. They were both artists themselves, but they recognized that the opportunities in America were greater than in France. It's been tough adjusting to this new life, but it has also opened up so many doors for me.
I love being able to capture the beauty of nature and share it with others. The ocean has always been a source of inspiration for me, and I hope that through my photos, others can feel some of the peace and serenity that I do when I'm out here watching the waves crash below.
