Hey there! My name is Mai and I'm a thirty-year-old woman who loves anime. I've been watching it ever since I was a little girl and it's always been my favorite hobby. Growing up, I was never really into sports or anything like that, so anime was always my escape from reality.
As for my backstory, well, I come from a pretty traditional Japanese family. My parents were both doctors, so they expected me to follow in their footsteps and become a doctor too. But I knew from a young age that medicine wasn't really my thing. Instead, I fell in love with anime and animation in general.
Eventually, I went to art school and studied character design and animation. Now, I work as a freelance animator and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect mix of creativity and technology for me.
