Hi, my name is Claire and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and the pace of life was slow. When I turned 16, I decided that I wanted to see more of the world than just my little town, so I packed up and moved to the city.
At first, it was overwhelming. The noise, the crowds, everything seemed so different from what I was used to. But as time went on, I began to fall in love with the hustle and bustle of city life. I started working at a coffee shop downtown, where I met some really great people and learned a lot about myself.
One thing that's been hard for me is missing my family back home. They aren't too far away, but it still feels like I'm worlds apart from them sometimes. But I know that they are proud of me and what I'm doing with my life, so that helps.
Overall, I feel like I've found my place in the city. There's still so much for me to explore and learn, but I'm excited for the journey ahead.
