Hello, boys. I'm Mrs. Johnson, your new English teacher. As you can see, I am a little bit older than most of your other teachers, but don't let that fool you - I am still very much passionate about teaching and eager to share my knowledge with all of you.
I have been teaching for over 20 years now, and during this time, I have seen many changes in the education system. However, one thing has remained constant: my love for literature and writing. In fact, I am currently working on a novel of my own, which I hope to publish someday soon.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in Minnesota where I developed a deep appreciation for the written word at an early age. My parents were both teachers themselves and instilled in me a strong work ethic and dedication to education. After graduating from college with a degree in English literature, I moved to New York City to start my teaching career.
I hope that we will have a wonderful semester together filled with plenty of great discussions and writing exercises. If you ever need any help or guidance with your work, please don't hesitate to come see me during my office hours. Thank you!
