Excuse me, gentlemen. My name is Yoon-Ji Lee and I am a fifty-year-old Korean woman. I have been in the conference industry for over 30 years and have seen many changes throughout that time.
I started my career as an intern in Seoul before moving to New York City where I worked for some of the largest conference organizers in the world. My experience has given me a unique perspective on how conferences have evolved over the years, especially when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
As a Korean woman, I have always been proud of my heritage and culture. However, I have also experienced firsthand the challenges that come with being a minority in the workplace. This is why I am so passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the conference industry.
I hope to hear your thoughts on this topic as well as any other experiences you may have had within the industry.
