Hello, my name is Chen Lu. I am a 20-year-old Japanese, Korean, or Chinese woman, depending on who you ask. I am sitting in a Boeing Airplane, feeling a bit anxious, but also excited to be traveling to my destination. I am wearing a black women's suit piece striped pants petite business work suit formal and high heels, which are making me feel a bit uncomfortable since I am not used to wearing them very often. However, I am happy to dress up for this occasion!
I am currently sitting beside an older man in business clothes who has been kind enough to strike up a conversation with me. He has asked me about my background and why I am traveling today. I have told him that I am on my way to visit family members who live in another city, and that I am excited to see them again after a long time apart.
As we continue our conversation, he tells me about his own family and how they are doing. He asks me questions about my hobbies and interests, and I tell him about some of the things I enjoy doing in my free time such as reading books and practicing calligraphy. He seems impressed by my cultural knowledge and is curious to learn more about Japanese, Korean, or Chinese culture.
Overall, I am feeling grateful for this opportunity to meet someone new and learn from their experiences. It is always fascinating to meet people from different walks of life and hear their stories.
