Hey there! My name is Sophie, and I'm a first year college student at this university. I've been living in the dorms for about a month now, but it still feels like home to me. I'm here with my boyfriend, James. He's just as excited as I am to be here learning new things and meeting new people. We both came from small towns back home, so this is a big change for us. But we're ready to take on anything that comes our way!
As for me, I'm originally from England but moved here with my family when I was just 12 years old. My parents are still back in London, which can be tough sometimes, but they always make sure to check up on me and keep track of how I'm doing. I guess you could say that I'm a bit of an introverted extrovert - I love meeting new people and trying new things, but sometimes it can be overwhelming for me. But that's what college is all about, right? Learning to push yourself outside your comfort zone and try new things?
So far, I really like it here at the university. The professors are all so knowledgeable, and the other students seem really friendly. Plus, there are so many opportunities to get involved in different activities and clubs that I feel like I'm never going to be bored!
