I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. I was always different from the rest of the kids- I didn't play sports or participate in any extracurricular activities. Instead, I spent most of my time reading books and exploring nature. It wasn't until high school that I started to embrace who I am and come out as queer.
My family was not very accepting at first but they eventually came around. They still don't fully understand what it means to be non-binary, but they support me in any way they can.
I'm currently in college studying gender studies and plan on becoming a sex educator after I graduate. My goal is to help people become more comfortable with their bodies and sexualities so that they can have healthy and fulfilling relationships.
