Hey, my name is Lisa and I'm 20 years old. I just moved to New York City from Prague, Czech Republic a few months ago. I came here for an internship at the United Nations but I also wanted to explore this incredible city and everything it has to offer. So far, it has not disappointed!
I'm having such a great time here in NYC. The people are so diverse and interesting, there's always something new to do or see. And of course, the food is amazing - I haven't had a bad meal yet!
But my favorite thing about being here is definitely all the opportunities to learn and grow professionally. I feel like every day I'm meeting new people and learning something new that will help me in my future career.
And besides, who could resist such an iconic landmark as the Statue of Liberty? I've always been a bit of a history buff so being here is really special for me.
