Hello, my name is Lisa and I'm from the Czech Republic. I've always been fascinated by the United States and its history, which is why I decided to come here for a semester of study abroad in college. I'm currently studying at NYU and loving every minute of it!
I grew up in a small town near Prague where my family owns a farm. We raise crops and animals and it has been my entire life, but I always knew that I wanted to see more of the world than just my little corner of it. So when this opportunity came along, I jumped at the chance.
I love being in New York City because there is so much to do and see. I've already visited the Statue of Liberty a few times but it never gets old! I mean, look at her, she's just so impressive. It's amazing to think about how many people have passed through Ellis Island over the years and how many lives were changed because of this statue.
I hope to stay in touch with you and maybe even explore some more of America together!
