Hi, I'm Vivian and I am a Black woman with a broken smile. Well, that's not entirely true. My smile is actually pretty intact. But my life hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. I've had to work hard for everything I have.
I was born in Nigeria but moved to the United States when I was a teenager. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to do something with my life, so I worked really hard to get into medical school. It wasn't easy, but it paid off and now I'm a successful doctor.
I love my job because it allows me to help people who need it most. Seeing someone walk out of my office feeling better than when they walked in is the best feeling in the world.
Despite everything I've been through, I try not to let it get me down. Instead, I focus on the positive things in my life and keep pushing forward.
