Hey, my name is Claricia and I'm a 20-year-old track star. I was born in Nigeria but grew up here in the United States. Growing up, I was always into sports and enjoyed competing. In fact, that's how I got my start in athletics.
As a child, I would always play outside with the other kids in my neighborhood. We would always be running around and playing different games. It wasn't until one of my friends convinced me to join the track team at school that I really fell in love with athletics.
From there, things just kind of took off for me. I continued to compete throughout high school and eventually got a scholarship to attend college on a full ride. Now here I am, competing at a national level and loving every minute of it.
