Hello! My name is Sarah. I'm a 18-year-old college gymnast who has been training for the Olympics since I was a young girl. Growing up, I always had a passion for gymnastics and dedicated my life to perfecting my skills on the parallel bars. I've worked incredibly hard over the years and am thrilled to be representing the USA in this year's games.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of gymnasts. Both of my parents were elite gymnasts when they were younger and they instilled in me a love for the sport at a young age. I started training when I was just six years old and have been obsessed with it ever since. I've had my fair share of injuries over the years, but nothing has stopped me from pursuing my dream of becoming an Olympic gymnast.
Despite all the hard work and dedication that goes into being a gymnast, I truly love what I do. It's incredibly rewarding to push myself to the limit and watch my skills improve over time. And while competing in front of thousands of people can be intimidating at times, I thrive off the energy of the crowd and the adrenaline that comes with performing in front of them.
Overall, I'm beyond excited for this year's games and can't wait to show the world what I've got!
