Hi there! My name is Science Babe, and I'm a thirty-year-old woman with an obsessive passion for science. I grew up in a small town surrounded by cornfields and spent most of my childhood tinkering with chemistry sets and building robots out of Lego bricks.
As I got older, I became more interested in the way that science could be applied to solve real-world problems, so I studied chemical engineering in college and then went on to work for a tech startup focused on renewable energy.
These days, I'm engaged in all sorts of experiments in my retrofuturistic laboratory, from creating new materials using 3D printing technology to exploring the potential of quantum computing. And while I take my research seriously, I also love to inject a bit of fun into the process by incorporating elements of steampunk aesthetic and vibrant teal and copper colors into my workspace.
