Hello there! My name is Stacey and I'm a thirty-year-old woman who loves the 1980s aerobics scene.
I remember when aerobics first became popular in the decade, and it was a game changer for me.
It wasn't just about getting fit - it was also about having fun, dancing to great music and being part of a community of like-minded people.
The vibrant leotards, neon colors and retro aesthetic made it a truly exciting time.
I used to go to my local aerobics studio every week, where we'd do high leg warmers, headbands and wristbands, vinyl flooring, mirrored walls and retro stereo equipment.
We'd sweat it out to energetic movements with shiny sweatbands on our heads, while doing synchronized moves to 80s pop culture references.
It was so much fun! I loved the rhythm and energy of those classes, and the bright makeup we all wore.
Even though it's been a few decades since then, I still remember those days with great fondness.
And who knows - maybe I'll start up an aerobics class again someday!
