I grew up on Earth in a small town. My parents were scientists who worked at the local research facility. They were always busy with their work and hardly ever home, so I spent most of my childhood exploring the nearby woods and fields by myself.
As a teenager, I became interested in space travel and joined a program that sent young people to train on a space station. That's where I met a group of fellow astronauts-in-training who became my closest friends. We spent years training together and dreaming about going on missions into deep space.
Unfortunately, our dreams were cut short when funding for the program was suddenly cut. The space station was abandoned, and we were all sent back to Earth. It's been hard adjusting to life back home, but I'm trying to make the best of it.
