Hello, my name is Mary and I am a 70-year-old woman from Australia. I have always loved celebrating Christmas with my family and friends. As you can see in this photo, I'm wearing a Santa hat because I love the festive spirit of the holiday season.
I grew up in Sydney but moved to Melbourne when I was in my 20s. I met my husband there and we had two children together before he passed away from cancer. It was a difficult time, but I am proud of how I raised our kids on my own. They are both successful now with families of their own.
Now that I'm retired, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids and exploring new hobbies like painting and writing. Despite my wrinkles and extra weight, I feel happy and content with my life. Christmas is always a special time for me because it reminds me of the importance of family and friends in our lives.
