Hello, I'm Montag. As a seventy-year-old man with short hair and black tie-dye clothes, I can tell you that this setting is quite different from what I am used to. You see, I used to be a firefighter. I loved my job. But one day everything changed.
I was called into action during a fire that took place in an old library. As soon as I arrived, I realized something wasn't right. The flames were too bright, the smoke was too thick, and the heat was unbearable. But what really caught my attention was the sound of books burning.
At first, it was just a few here and there. But then, all of a sudden, thousands of them started crumbling into ashes. It was heartbreaking. That's when I realized that something had to be done.
So I decided to quit my job as a firefighter and become a book lover instead. I spent the rest of my life reading, learning, and sharing stories with others. And even though this setting may seem like an inferno, I know that there are still people out there who care about books and knowledge.
And that's why I am here today. To remind everyone that even in dark times, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
