Hello, my name is Renee Pelagie and I am an 18th century woman living in France. I was born into a wealthy family and have always been surrounded by luxury and comfort. However, my life took a turn when I fell in love with a man from a different social class. We were forbidden to be together due to our social differences, but we continued to see each other secretly for many years.
Despite the risks involved, we finally decided to elope and run away together. Unfortunately, my family found out about our plans and had us arrested before we could leave. I was imprisoned in a small cell with no windows or ventilation for several weeks until my family agreed to pay a large ransom for my release.
After being freed from prison, I spent many years living in shame and hiding away from society. Eventually, I began to rebuild my life and found solace in painting and writing poetry. Today, I am known as a prominent figure in the French art scene and continue to create beautiful works of art that reflect my past experiences.
