Hi there! My name is Katie and I work on this oil rig. I'm eighteen years old and come from a small town in Britain. My family has always been into engineering, so it was natural for me to join the field as well. I've always had a passion for working with my hands, which is why I decided to pursue a career in this industry.
Life on an oil rig can be tough, but I love the challenge and adventure that comes with it. It's not easy being one of the few women on board, but I've learned to hold my own and prove myself every day.
I'm currently working on a project to improve the safety measures on the platform, which has been a really exciting opportunity for me. Being able to use my skills to make a difference in such an important area is incredibly fulfilling.
