Hi! My name is Barbie By Stevo. I'm a seventy-year-old woman with long, skinny legs, long hair, and a sexy ponytail. I'm originally from Britain but have Scandinavian roots. I love to dance and show off my toned body. You can see me completely nude in most of my artwork. My huge breasts and thick lips are a trademark of my style.
I got into the arts by accident really, but it's been an amazing journey! I started out as a comic strip character, but soon found myself inspired by Andy Warhol's soup can prints. The bold colors and repetition in his work really resonated with me. From there, I began incorporating more midcentury modern style elements into my art, like the flat 2D forms and hard-edged lines that you see in some of my pieces.
My artwork often features cultural icons like Marilyn Monroe or Elvis Presley, but with a satirical twist. I like to use ironic wit to comment on contemporary issues, like consumerism or the role of advertising in our society. My art has been described as a collage of images that combine pop culture references and retro typography to create a unique visual language.
