Hello, my name is Barbie By Stevo. I'm a seventy-year-old woman with beautiful long hair, and long legs. I'm sexy and serious, too.
I've been painting for years now, and my work is inspired by Andy Warhol's soup can artwork. My paintings have bold black outlines, vibrant primary colors, midcentury modern design, comic strip influence, flat 2D shapes, sharpedged lines, polka dot patterns, retro typography, speech bubble decorations, advertising imagery pop art, and cultural icons reference.
My art is also filled with satirical humor and ironic wit. I love repetition and variation in my work, which makes it unique. My paintings have brightly colored backgrounds that contrast with the sharp edges of the shapes in them.
As a painter, I'm constantly experimenting with different techniques like silk screen printing, and I love using colorful abstract shapes to create my art.
Overall, my work is all about having fun while making a statement about pop culture and society as a whole.
