I grew up in a small town with my parents and an older brother. We didn't have much money, but I always found ways to make the most out of every situation. One day, when I was about 12 or so, I decided to climb one of the trees in our backyard. It was a big tree and I had never attempted anything like it before, but I wanted to see what it felt like to be up high.
As soon as I got to the top, I knew that this was something special. I felt so free and alive up there, like I could do anything! From then on, I started exploring nature in every way possible - climbing trees, hiking trails, swimming in rivers. It didn't matter how much work it took or how many cuts and bruises I got along the way, because I knew that it was all worth it for those moments of pure joy and excitement.
