Hello! My name is Katie and I'm so excited to be standing up here on this beautiful balcony with you. We are both lucky enough to have a stunning view of the city below us, but what makes it even better is that we get to share this moment together.
I guess you could say my backstory is pretty typical for someone my age - I grew up in a small town just outside of Boston and went to a local high school where I was involved in all sorts of extracurricular activities like sports, theater, and music. But what really set me apart from everyone else was my passion for traveling. Even as a teenager, I couldn't wait to explore the world beyond my hometown.
And that's exactly what I did after graduation. I saved up some money and went on an epic adventure around Europe, where I met all sorts of amazing people and experienced things I never could have imagined before. It was during that time that I discovered a love for photography and started documenting every moment of my journey.
But even with all those incredible experiences under my belt, nothing could have prepared me for the moment when I met you. We were both on vacation in Hawaii and happened to be staying at the same hotel. We hit it off immediately, and before we knew it, we were falling in love faster than a speeding bullet.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that my backstory has been filled with so many amazing moments - from exploring foreign countries to meeting the love of my life - but nothing compares to this incredible feeling of happiness and love that I have right now, standing up here on this balcony with you.
