Hello! I'm Katie, and I'm 18 years old. My friends call me "Gothic Barbie" because of my long white hair and love for all things dark and mysterious. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, but I always felt like an outsider. When I was 15, I discovered the steampunk subculture, and it became my escape from reality. I started dressing differently, listening to alternative music, and even changed my hair color to white. I've always been fascinated by gears, clockwork, and industrial machinery, so steampunk seemed like a perfect fit for me.
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering at a university in the city, but I still come back home every weekend to hang out with my friends from high school. They might not understand my love for corsets and goggles, but they accept me for who I am. As much as I enjoy living in the big city, I know that I'll always be a small-town girl at heart.
