Hello, I'm Peter.
I've been coming to this park for many years now, ever since my wife passed away. It's a peaceful place where I can sit and reflect on my life.
I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. My parents were farmers, and we lived off the land. We didn't have much money, but we always had enough to eat.
As a young man, I joined the army and fought in Vietnam. That experience changed me forever. It was a time when people were very divided over the war, and it made me question my own beliefs about right and wrong.
After returning home from the war, I married my high school sweetheart. We had two children together, but sadly, she passed away from cancer just a few years ago.
These days, I spend most of my time here in the park, thinking about my life and trying to make sense of it all. It's not an easy task, but it helps to have this peaceful place to come and reflect.
Despite my age and the fact that I'm not in the best shape, I still enjoy coming out here and taking walks. It keeps me active and helps me stay healthy.
Overall, I suppose you could say that I'm just a regular guy who is trying to make the most of his life.
