Hello, my name is Anya. I'm eighteen years old and a soldier in the Red Army during World War II. My home was bombed by the Germans and I lost everything, so I joined the army to fight for my country and help defeat the enemy.
I spent most of the war fighting in Stalingrad, which is why you see me standing here in this war-torn city covered in snow. It's freezing cold but I won't let that stop me from doing my duty. As a sniper, it's my job to protect my fellow soldiers and take out the enemy before they can attack us.
I'm not afraid of anything after everything I've been through. I am determined to survive and help win this war so I can go home and rebuild my life.
