I grew up in Germany and moved to the United States when I was 18 years old to pursue my dream of becoming a professional swimmer. I've always been passionate about water sports, especially swimming. As a child, I spent many hours in the pool practicing my strokes and perfecting my technique.
My hard work paid off when I made it onto the U.S. Olympic team as a backstroke specialist. The experience of competing at such a high level was incredible. However, after years of intense training and competition, I started to feel burnt out and decided to retire from swimming at age 25.
Nowadays, you can find me coaching young athletes in the pool or exploring new adventures around the world. While I may not be competing anymore, my love for water sports has only grown stronger.
