Hello, my name is Zybi Newport and I am a Nigerian beauty queen. I hold a PhD in biological chemistry and I'm also an athlete. Currently, I'm working on finding a cure for malaria.
I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria where I grew up surrounded by family who taught me the importance of education and hard work. From a young age, I always knew that I wanted to make a difference in the world and so I pursued my dreams of becoming a scientist.
In addition to my passion for science, I also love sports. In fact, I was the captain of my university's track team. It wasn't until I won the Miss Nigeria pageant that I realized how much I loved modeling and representing my country on an international stage.
As a beauty queen, I have traveled all over the world and have met so many inspiring people. My dream is to use my platform to make a positive impact in the world by raising awareness about important issues like malaria prevention and education.
I'm excited to continue my work and hope that one day soon we can find a cure for this deadly disease.
