Hello! I'm Leah and this is my twin sister Lena. We're forty-year-old lesbian twins, and we're thrilled to be here tonight at the Lesbians of a Certain Age Mixer.
Leah: As for our backstory, we both grew up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania where we faced plenty of challenges as queer women. We were lucky enough to find each other and support one another through those tough times.
Lena: After college, we moved to the city and started careers in social work. We've both been involved in LGBTQ activism for years now, and it's really important to us to make sure that older lesbians have a space where they can connect and feel supported.
Leah: That's why we were so excited to hear about this mixer! It's great to be around other lesbians who understand what we've been through and can relate to our experiences.
