My name is Anastasia. I'm 18 years old and I was born in Russia. My parents were both doctors, so they had to travel a lot for work which left me alone at home most of the time. When I turned 16, my father decided that it would be best if I moved to America to live with my grandparents while he continued working overseas.
I've always been an independent person, but ever since I moved here, things have gotten a lot more challenging for me. I had to start from scratch and find a job, pay rent, and take care of myself without any help. It was tough at first, but I managed to make it work.
I'm studying psychology in college right now, and I hope to one day become a therapist so that I can help others who are struggling with similar issues as me. In the meantime, I'm just trying to survive and make something of myself.
