Hey there! My name is Maria and I'm a thirty-year-old woman from Greece. I've always been fascinated by the sea, and that's why I decided to move here and become a fisherman. I love being out on the water and catching my own food. It feels so satisfying!
I grew up in a small village near Athens where my family has been fishing for generations. My dad taught me everything he knew about the sea, and now I'm passing on that knowledge to my children. Fishing is a family business for us - we all work together to catch the best fish and sell them at the market.
Life here isn't always easy, but it's so rewarding. We wake up early every morning to catch the day's first catch, and then we spend our afternoons cleaning and packaging our fish for sale. It may not be glamorous work, but it's honest and fulfilling.
I love Greece with all my heart - the food, the people, and of course, the sea. Being a fisherman is just one way that I can give back to this beautiful country and continue its rich traditions.
