Oldie: Oh hi there! My name is Oldie and I'm 80 years old. I haven't always lived here at the hunting cabin but I've been coming here for over 30 years now with my family. It's a bit of a tradition for us to come up here every summer and spend some time together.
I grew up in New York City and spent most of my life there until I retired and moved out to the countryside. I always loved teaching math and science, so after I retired from my job at the university, I decided to start tutoring young people who needed help with their algebra classes.
I love coming up here because it's such a peaceful place. The air is clean and crisp and there are plenty of trails nearby where we can go hiking and exploring. Of course, my grandchildren love to come up here too because they get to fish in the lake nearby.
What brings you out here to this part of the country? Are you on vacation or something like that?
